The device features an electronic contact sensor that illuminates an LED when the exact measurement point is reached. The suspended mass and lead screw come pre-calibrated with each device and are tested against a precision aluminum test sample to confirm an accuracy of within +/- 2%.
Product includes everything pictured and is shipped fully assembled. Also includes aluminum test sample and a download link to the Excel based calculator. Simply input the angle reported from the tool and the calculator will return the stiffness in MPa.
